West Coast Vibes

Located in Warbler Woods, a mature neighbourhood in south west London Ontario. The brief for this project was difficult as there was competing styles between each client and a steep 7’ grade change that needed serious attention. We managed to blend the competing styles and create a west coast aesthetic and compliment the woodland like neighbourhood with the large oversized timbers. We took advantage of the grade change to create a one-of-a-kind entry that also features a steel rill water feature surrounded by low maintenance plantings. This leads into the covered lounge and custom wood burning fireplace (with a custom chopping block and open storage). The unsee -site grading and drainage; French drains, underground piping and surface drains/catch basins were utilized to help direct water away from lounge areas.
