inside out

This project is located in Paris Ontario on a small wooded lot surrounded by mature trees and lush greenery. The design brief called for a more usable space that was level and user friendly. A main focus was creating an enclosed space that could be used year-round to enjoy the natural views 365 days a year. Other must have items included a covered outdoor kitchen and bar area, space for a hammock and no railings to avoid obstructing views. This design was honored with the Neil Vanderkruk Award for Excellence in design for 2024 - before pictures are added below for reference.
